As first time home builders twenty three years ago, Andy and I feel fortunate that Jim Mumper and his office staff and crew walked us through the process. We could not have been happier with our first custom home.  Over the years, Jim and his employees have continued to help us with additions of a wine room, outdoor fireplace and more recently an addition of a first floor master suite.

Jim and his staff developed a home designed that met all my needs and also all ADA requirements including passing a VA final inspection after the home was built. Mumper Construction did an excellent job! People who have been to my home don’t even realize that my custom home is much different than other custom homes due to Mumper’s designed.

In 1989 we signed a contract with Jim to build our home in Green Lane Manor. He said to us, “Have fun with this, there will be problems, but we will work them out”.  That was the start of a friendship that has lasted over 30 years.

We enjoyed working with Jim and his entire team from start to finish. They all went out of their way to work with us on the special custom details and wood work that makes our home unique and beautiful.
